My, what an underwhelming day. It is COLDDDDDDD out side! You know it's cold when the directsunlight should be melting thick frost and the frost just sits there and laughs at it! It was 23 - 24 F last night at about 11 P.M. and I'm sure it got colder still.
Well, tomorrow I'll be on my way to Seattle for the week end. I have an NFB Christmas Party to attend in North Seattle, at the Outback Steak House! I'll be bringing a set of finely scented holiday candles for an adult, and a small stuffed snowman for a child. I'll also be the official photographer for this event and that should be fun. I've heared alot about various people who should be in attendance. It will be good to put a face to a name.
I've been writing in my travel guide book and it is coming together. I don't feel so lagging now. I guess just a little bit each day is better than NEVER, any day.
King Kong and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe are both out. I want to see both, but who knows if or when that will happen.
I hope that laundry doesn't turn into a Star Trek event here... a 5 year mission. I'm waiting for it to finish so I can put the second load in. It's a little after 11 A.M. I need to write some today and go pick up my Lame and paultry Express Personnel check at 2 P.M. That's not a cmplaint towards the check mind you, but Express SUCKS!!!! Royally!
My schedule is starting to tighten, and I like that. Today laundry, bills, bus tickets, sleep. Tomorrow, bus to Seattle, Saturday Christmas Party, Sunday? Monday? Tuesday Christmas with my room mate, Wednesday Christmas with my best friends Mike and Patsy and their kids and watching the Alistair Simms version of Scrooge! With the option of black and white OR Colorized!!!! Thursday, head back to Seattle. Friday, Woodland Park Zoo with special holiday feeding! It's called the Berry blast! They feed all of the animals holiday treats. Saturday is Christmas eve and Marv has a photo shoot for the drama production of a black 7th Day adventist church group. They did a photo shoot for the group a couple of months ago. Sunday is Christmas. The following week will start about the same, and I'll head to Seattle on the 28th. More special WPZ Berry blast, cuz its being done on the 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 28th, 29th, and 30th.
Mom and Marv leave for their month + of Arkansas on the 29th and return on the 6th of February.
WHEW! After all that, the frost is melting, laundry is needing to be changed, and I'm sure I'll have more to say later! |
